Flexible Payments for Your Clearance

The person at the border does not have to be the person paying. Keep the vehicle moving through its paperwork while the owner or office arranges the funds.

See the ZRA estimate and Ultima service fee separately before deciding how to pay.

Coordinate Your Clearance Payments

We will explain the service fees and applicable customs amounts, and confirm how each should be paid before clearing begins.

Separate Payments for More Flexibility

Pay Ultima’s service separately and arrange the customs payment against ZRA’s assessment and PRN. Your office can fund the clearance while the driver supplies the documents.

What can Ultima clear in Zambia?

Ultima handles transit consignments, vehicle and commercial goods imports, and exports. Tell us what you are moving, the countries involved and the border you plan to use. We will confirm the requirements for your shipment before you commit.

Can you arrange transit through Zambia?

Yes. Provide the goods description, entry border, intended exit and final destination. Ultima will review the shipment and prepare your transit quotation.

Which borders should I select?

Choose the crossing your shipment will use. Ultima’s recent declaration examples include Kazungula and Katima Mulilo. For a different crossing, or if your route is not decided, tell us so we can confirm arrangements before you travel.

Which clearing documents should I send?

Start with the commercial invoice and transport document, such as a bill of lading or road consignment note. For a vehicle, include its export certificate or registration document where available. Ultima will ask for any additional documents needed for the particular shipment.

Is the clearing quotation free?

Yes. You can request a quotation without paying or committing to the service. For commercial cargo, review your request and send it to Ultima on WhatsApp. For a vehicle assessment, use the document-upload option.

How much does Ultima charge?

Transit, import and export clearance start at USD 200. The final agency fee depends on the consignment, quantities, bond coverage and additional support required. Duties, taxes and third-party charges are separate and itemised in your quotation.

What does the agency fee include?

Document assessment, declaration preparation, licensed submission and online case tracking. Additional consignments, quantities and specialist support are quoted separately. The fee does not include ZRA duties or taxes.

Can I start at the border?

Yes, or you can send your documents before arrival. Tell us whether the shipment is already at the border, on the way or still being planned. This service is for new requests and existing Ultima cases, not restarting a declaration another agent is already handling.

Can the transport office pay?

Yes. The driver can provide the documents while the owner or transport office arranges payment. Request a quotation and we will confirm the service charges, customs amounts and payment arrangements with you.

How do I follow my case?

Contact Ultima with your existing request reference. Sending a quotation request does not create a case automatically. Ultima first reviews your shipment and confirms the quotation and next steps; customs release remains subject to the relevant checks.

Your shipment. Your next step.
