Prepare your Zambia export with a clear document checklist, itemised clearing fee and an appointed agent. Ultima organises the declaration for your goods, destination and intended exit crossing.

Documents for Your Customs Clearance

For businesses and individuals exporting goods from Zambia. Commercial exports, re-exports and temporary movements need the correct procedure. Clearance in the destination country is separate from the Zambia export service.

Send the documents together where possible. A clear description of each item makes it easier to identify the requirements and price the work accurately.

What to Send

  • Exporter’s TPIN and business details
  • Commercial invoice and packing list
  • Cargo manifest, consignment note or other transport document
  • Destination and intended exit crossing

Before You Arrange Clearance

Agree the scope and costs before instructing the work. For an existing Ultima case, use your case reference rather than opening another request.

What if the goods will return?

Tell Ultima before the declaration is prepared. Goods leaving temporarily, including for repair, are not treated in the same way as a permanent export.

Are customs charges included in USD200?

No. The starting price is the agency fee. Duties, taxes, consignment surcharges and other applicable costs are shown separately in the quotation.

Can I request a quote online?

Yes. Complete the quotation request and review it before sending it to Ultima. Vehicle document assessment is also available through the Clearing Manager. The current online application does not take live payments.
