Your Import Clearing Process
Get Your Free Quotation
Send your invoice, transport documents and vehicle or goods details. Receive an itemised quotation showing the agency fee separately from applicable customs charges.
We File Your Declaration
Approve the quotation and pay the agency fee. Your clearing agent checks the classification, valuation and supporting documents, then submits the import declaration through ASYCUDAWorld.
Your Goods Are Released
Settle the assessed customs charges and complete any required checks. Once ZRA authorises release, your vehicle or goods can continue to their destination in Zambia.

The agency fee starts at USD200. Customs Duty, Excise Duty, Import VAT and any applicable carbon charge are separate. The treatment depends on the goods and procedure; an invoice amount alone is not a confirmed customs assessment.

Before You Arrange Clearance
Agree the scope and costs before instructing the work. For an existing Ultima case, use your case reference rather than opening another request.
Can preparation begin before arrival?
Yes. Send the documents before the shipment reaches Zambia so missing details can be resolved early. You can also request clearance when already at the border, provided another agent has not started the declaration.
Are customs charges included in USD200?
No. The starting price is the agency fee. Duties, taxes, consignment surcharges and other applicable costs are shown separately in the quotation.
Can I request a quote online?
Yes. Complete the quotation request and review it before sending it to Ultima. Vehicle document assessment is also available through the Clearing Manager. The current online application does not take live payments.
